Bright Effects Light Bulb Ripoff

I've been tracking the endurance of my Bright Effects light bulbs (Item # 80424) (bulb number LBP15R30M2) for the past year and a half. These light bulbs are advertised to last up to 7 years. They are warrantied for 2 years assuming 3 hours of use per day.

My Bright Effects bulbs are averaging 6 months of light before they burn out. To be fair, these lights are in my kitchen and probably average 5 hours per day of use. However, 6 months is a piddiy amount of time compared to the advertised length of time of up to 7 years.

The physical quality of these bulbs is even shabby. The threaded portion of most of the bulbs is on crooked.

I do have one Bright Effects bulb (LBP15R302) in my kitchen that has lasted over a year and is still functioning. It's a different number than the ones I'm complaining about.

I feel I'm being ripped-off.
