Ordered synthetic grass for putting green and ruff. John Oconenr promised to start installation on May 17 per contract. They did not show up. I called all Thursday and Friday with no luck. Finally, two guys show up and delivered some equipment, roll of grass and scrap grass on Friday then left. On the following Monday, I called and called no answer. I went to the address to find out that it is a UPS store address and not a real business address. The UPS store owner refuse to give his real address. I think UPS should allow people like that to hide behind their mail boxes.
On Tuesday, I called John OConner more than 50 times left message, and send emails with no answer. On Wednesday, three guys showed up and picked up all the equipment and left for another job, they said. I been calling and sending email to John OConner with no luck. He took of the cost of job which is $2825.00. The check was cashed through Bank of America.
I found out for the UPS store owner that I am not the only one looking for him.
John claims that he is only a Sales Rep. That is not true. One of the installation guys name Sean said that John is the owner.
Now I have to hire someone else to finish the job. Remember that the address in a UPS store address and not a real address. He prints that on his brochures.
Now I have to file small claim against him. The unfortunate thing is that he has no real address and I am not sure if he has a contractor license. Business name are not found on San Diego County.
This person operates under Ecoscape Outdoor.
