Perfect Management is the "sister company" of Absolute Builders. Perfect Management was "hired" by the developer Absolute Builders to be the condo management company for the condo I purchased. They never returned the calls from our condo residents/owners. We finally found out that our contract was about to renew for 5 years! We opted out of the auto-renewal just in time to save ourselves a legal hassle. We were able to hire another company for 1/4 the price that Absolute Builders had arranged. (Funny how the "sister company" could strike such a good deal, hmm?)
The new company also did things for us that Perfect Management would never do: Return our calls and fulfill actual duties of a management company! (Perfect Management woudl tell us that every request was our own responsibility. We mowed the lawn, shoveled the walks, and other maintenance duties.) Our new company does all this at 1/4 the price!
In retrospect, it seems that Perfect Management just collected dues and paid the bills. And, not suprisingly, they could not account for our funds when it was time to turn the accounts over to our new management company! That's right! They were collecting 4x the dues... And not performing... And nobody knows where these went! Is it possible that those funds went to building costs that our Developer should have been paying out of their own pocket? I guess I'll never really know. And the builders aren't talking. Because they dissappeared without finishing their work as soon as we stopped paying the management company their extortion *ahem* exorbitant fees.
If you ever go up to Evanston to check out the location of where your checks are being sent you will find a nice Boiler Room style office. Cheap furniture and outdated cheap faux leather bound books... No defining sings business or address on the exterior... And this is the address for the management company (Perfect Management), the developer (Absolute Builders), and more! (AJN, Inc. - General Constructors / Absolute Plumbing and Eurostyle Mall - A furniture webstore). That is a whole lot of business being done at an almost vacant office.
If you are locked into a contract, beware. I don't think they take on additional clients that aren't handed to them by their "sister company", but I still thought I would try to warn others
