Irl Unruh the contractor agreed to do a remodeling job for heart transplant recipient and one time friend. After going to the bank with me to get $80,000 home remodeling loan & recieving 1st payment, work began.
2 months turned into 3 months, then 5, then 8... After last payment, which included $6000 of kitchen appliance that were never ordered or delivered, Irl Unruh Contractor was never seen on the job again! I forgot to mention the old kithen appliances were given to Irl Unruh at his request because the new ones were being delivered.
We now have huge water pockets busting through ceiling downstairs. This was caused by running water pipes through air condition ducts. Next there were wild cats along with their kittens falling from the holes in the ceiling that were made from the water pockets. The pregnant cats got inside through the awnings along the house that were never completed and continue to have insulation falling from them.
I am in desperate need of my elevator which is hanging to one side against my deck; very dangerous. The deck which was suppose to be jacked up & secured to house was just days away from collapsing. My husband & son inlaw had to rent a back hoe & dig up the whole backyard to redo septic. To this day bathroom downstairs still does not work. No light fixtures, plate switches, covers or fans put back.
Wooden floor was coming up & buckling within 1st week of installation & our garage is still the most airconditioned part of the house. To top it off this man runs full & 1/2 page ads in local newspaper & has sign on the hwy advertising what he describes as his honest, a little more expensive but well worth the creative workmanship business of remodeling.
