I ordered my Living Room set on 2/26, the computers were down however, they assured me that it would have no effect on the time it would take to receive my furniture. Upon leaving they informed me that it would take 7-10 days for it to come in. The man even said that sometimes they come in sooner.
On 3/7/08 which was 10 days after my order, I called and they said that it was not in and they did not know when it would arrive. The man then informed me that it had only been 8 days because they did not show my order untill 2/28/08. I told them that after ordering, I had made arangements for my other furniture to be taken away on 3/7/08 due to the verbal contract that we had made.
I found in dealing with American Freight that they have very bad people skills. The manager of the store that we spole with was rude. He accused me of lying about my day of purchase and eventually hung up the phone on my sister whom I had deal with him because I had already fought with him 2 times.
I did not read about American Freight and I wish that I would have however, I hope that this might help save someone else the trouble that I have been through.
