First time homeowners beware. Ed Sarfo appears very diplomatic, compassionate, and will always pick up the phone, but as far as giving you the best deal — you can forget about that.
I recently bought a home with Ed Sarfo in a market that I could have really gotten a good deal, but I ending up paying top dollar for a house that is falling apart. I do admit that I had a tight timeframe to buy the house, but he made it seem like I could not make mutiple offers and that once I paid the earnest money, I was locked in even though the inspection revealed quite a few things that needed to be taken care.
In the end, I still have many questions that Ed Sarfo doesn't care to address. At this point I am convinced that he was always on the side of the former owner. He even mentioned in the closing, when he gave the former owner his business card that "they would have to do this again".
Now that I have learned from my HUGE mistake, I will look closer at the next realtor that I choose. I would not recommend Ed Sarfo to anyone buying a house in Lexington KY.
