Storstormvac refused to answer customercare line

I am unable to attach the hand vacuum to the motor housing unit I am unable to take the dust cup off
tired the number and internet but no response
it does work but if I can not empty the dust cup... It is of no use to me and I can not use it in the upright position no return address available and I had to pay a warranty fee
