My home is all I have - my dream is in ruins. I do not have thousands of dollars to do repairs - I am a single mother. My home was purchased with the money my parents left me when they were both killed in a house fire on 3/31/99.
Hired National Restoration Specialists, Inc. On October 24 for purchase and installation of new shrink wrap insulation package, roofing, siding, gutters, gutter guards, downspouts.
Job started December 18.in the first week ork crew headed by John Nickle smoked pot on the job, neglected to install the insulation package. I caught this and all siding was torn off, insulation added and ruined siding rehung! I informed the company President and the crew left the job - my home had nothing - no insulation or siding in rain and snow strorms. Crew came back on the job because they had nobody else. Job "complete" according to them on January 20.
Job was never completed! Joints not caulked, shutters not hung, siding cut short and foundation left exposed, nails in so hard that all siding and J channel looks warped and wavy along all sides of home. AUGUST I finally had to give up and have some repairs done out of pocket with another company or I would be fined by my HOA.
They were paid in full by my insurance company so they did not care. I called and wrote letters to Rick Pirozzi, Harvey Houlton, Mr. Ford, Mr. Moon and my sales rep Scott Stangle. No one would call me back when they said they would - I made dozens and dozens of calls begging for the job to be completed.
June - I called the compnay that installed my windows because I thought they were leaking. They are not! Water is coming into my home per the siding job. They never installed any of the flashing and J channel not installed correctly. I have water damage because water is going underneath the siding and rotting any wood that may underneath. Two windows need to be torn out now as frames are completely rotted. All telephone numbers for this company in Maryland and Virginia have been disconnected. The sales rep Scott Stangle is the only one with a working cell phone
