My Plumber
Deceptive Labor Practices, Fraud Contract, Severe Damages, nonlicensed plumbe

Searching for a Lawyer for consumer protection.

I signed the contract. The work that was performed was not that listed on the contract. The parts that were listed on the contract were not the actual parts used on the job. I retained a complete list of all part numbers, the written estimate and the signed contract. The work was performed by a 16 year old son of the plumber who his father was training on company time, yet the company appeared to be unaware that this had occurred. The child's work caused a great deal of damage to the home. The work was performed after 9PM at night.

As soon as I became aware of the damages I canceled the payment and contacted the company. My bank records reflect the cancellation of the check and a fee to cancel their ability to debit my account. The bank records reflect a fee that was charged to my account for these transactions.

After numerous calls, letters and emails to the plumber that was suppose to have performed the work, his manager, the district manager, and their insurance company, it took more than 6 months for the company to address the damages (still not completely satisfied with the resolution here).

The company has never contacted me to tell me that the damages have been repaired. I was the tenant and property manager during the time the work and damages occurred now the owner resides in the residence. After both the owner and I spent months trying to get the damages resolved to some extent the representatives of the company consistently lied to both of us and scheduled appointments where no one showed up. Now the company had a collection firm contact me for the payment inclusive of extraordinary fees.

The original contract which I have is for work that was not completed. The work that was completed that caused the damages is not even on the contract and there are still the issues of the son actually doing the work verses a certified employee or contractor of the company. Before I pay anything to this less than Integrity Company, I plan to speak with a lawyer. It appears to be a lot of liabilities here that has not yet been addressed by the company and their insurance company.

Looking for legal assistance; details and documentation available upon request. Thank you.
