Contractors Choice Lighting
Sold Defecetive Product and would not resolve... Lost money!

Details of my awful experience with CCL are available below, but suffice to say that CCL:

-Provided defective product
-Made numerous commitments to replace the defective product
-Delivered on none of its commitments
-Resorted to accusing me of fraud for disputing the charge with American Express
-Ultimately turned my account over to a collection agency
-Pinched me for $225 in order to make them go away

Very simple suggestion, unless you are accustomed to deplorable service, rude treatment and are interested in parting with you money without anything of value in return, I would strongly question doing business with this company.

March 13 Customer placed initial order with CCL for merchandise totaling $215.34.

March 21 Initial CCL order received by customer.

At that time, customer agreed to await shipment of replacement product and also placed an order for an additional $137.94 in products from CCL.

April 10 Customer again contacted CCL to inquire as to the shipment ETA for the replacement of the faulty product and was then notified by CCL that due to the time that had passed from order date until April 10, CCL would not take any action to replace or repair the faulty product. Customer notified CCL that American Express (payment method) would be notified of the situation, that the American Express charge would be disputed and customer notified CCL that customer would gladly return the shipment of faulty product. Customer also cancelled order dated April 3.

September 23 Customer was contacted by Sterling & King, a debt collection agency, with requests for clarification regarding the dispute.
