Absolutely the poorest run, worst quality rennovation firm in Connecticut. I used to work for this butcher. Here's what I observed. Jobs never on schudule, poor workmanship, subcontractors rarely paid and Blaze is rarely ever on the job. Employees are rarely if ever paid on time.inferior materials used where he can get away with it. His wife is the "architect and designer" but has virtually no experience and no knowledge of building codes. I worked on one job where outside contractors were hired to do the framing (because Blaze has no real knowledge of building). The entire jobe was a mess by the time I got there and we spent an additional 4 weeks patching (not fixing) all of the horrendous mistakes. The floors were as much as 3 inches out of level in 10 feet. Blaze was two hours late (as he was for EVERYTHING EVER) for my initial interview but gave no explanation. Avoid this firm at all costs. He's a price gouging hack who just drives around in his sports car all day and ignores his customers. If you're considering doing busines with him pay no attention to the pictures of past projects. They are all stolen from a book in his office. Try speaking to any of his subs or ex customers for the real story as to how he does business. Blaze is a land scaper who bought some carpentry tools and needs other people to figure a way out of the messes he makes. I was also on a job where a logger had driven 300 miles to meet him to purchase some walnut logs for milling. This poor guy waited for 4 hours and Blaze never even showed up nor did he answer his phone when I called to inform him. TOTAL butcher and dishonest thief. Wait until you hear his lies about being a martial arts expert. If that were true he would have faced me rather than talking to other contractors about me. They all hated him too so every word got back to me
