I purchased a TempurPedic Celebrity mattress & boxspring (King) from this company on August 2 via the Buy-It-Now option on Ebay. This is TempurPedic's top line mattress. I paid $2698.00 for the set, which included free shipping with the Buy-It-Now option. The mattress arrived 4 weeks later, although they claim to send orders in 10 business days.
Instead of the Celebrity, I was sent the Deluxe, which is an inferior model and retails for $1000.00 less. I contacted Brad Merriman, the owner, who acknowledged the error on their end and promised to exchange the mattress for the correct one immediately.
Despite numerous emails and phone calls (at least 30 attempts on my part), one entire year later, I still do not have the mattress I paid for & was subsequently promised on multiple occasions. They do not return calls & I am now forced to hire an attorney to deal with them.
I filed a complaint with the Chattanooga Better Business Bureau & the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). The BBB has multiple unresolved complaints against this vendor and they have received an Unsatisfactory Rating. Buyer Beware... Very aware!!! Long history of defrauding honest consumers. Check negative feedbacks on Ebay under vendor merriman33.
