Ack in Oct I made a purchase of insullation from a Home Depot, the program stated that by making this purchase (of $250.00 or more). You will receive a gift card $75.00 sent in the mail. Via rebate - it is now April.
After numburious calls, still not getting anywhere; just nasty customer service people from the rebate center. They claim (currently) that the forum was not complete - and each time it's a differn't excuse... Luckly, I've made copys of all my receipts as whell when mailing out the rebate fourms they were sent certifyed to cover date and time when sent,
Home Depot dosen't want to have anything to do with it... One of the managers at the store location - didn't want to deal with it, at first; to me he claimed that he never heard of such a thing..??? - moments later when passing by, he commented to an employee - that it's getting annoying to cover up for other peoples mistakes and didn't want to get in the middle. (pertaining to rebate programs)
Well if you sell something and market it in your store to attract people to make the purchase; one should stand by thier word. If not, why should i or anyone else pay for anything in your store. I should be able to walk in and take what I need and make a donation in return of what I fee that it's worth...
The bottom line is - All or any such rebate programs should be offered at the time of purchased...! Enoughf of these games...
