Ripoff Horrible Customer Service

My husband and I built our home with Statewide Modular. The home is beautiful and well built by the manufacturer. OUr issue revolves around sloppy worksmanship by the contractors that Statewide employs and lousy customer service. We were told that permit applications were submitted only to find out after NUMEROUS phone calls that it never happened.

Work that was done on-site took much more than the 14 - 16 weeks allotted in the contract and much of it had to be done more than once due to sloppy worksmanship. When I would call to find out why nothing was being done, I would have to call at LEAST 3 - 5 times before I would get a return phone call. Even now, after the house has been completed (we moved in in November), it is like pulling teeth to get a return phone call about repair work that needs to be done. If someone decides to do business with this company, please be prepared to have to call over and over and make a pain in the butt of yourself, sometimes yell, but never get a return phone call.

On the positive side, if we called and spoke with Bruce (the owner), our calls were returned and problems seemed to get resolved. That was the ONLY time.
