This company promises the world and starts out OK. Then its "i need money for...". He get the sub contractors to start their end of the job and does not pay them.
Subsequently they walk off the job never to be seen. When asked why a particular sub has not finished you get to hear 1001 differnent excuses from this contractor.
The job was to take 3 months to do - 7 months have now past and only 50% of the work has been either started or comlpeted.
They hired a sub to do brick work on the new addition. The sub asked tobe paid for two weeks, they didn't pay him and today I went by to see that someone ripped all the new brick work off the walls into a catastrophic mess around the house.

This SOB contractor has destroyed my life and livelyhood. He has taken deposits for specific jobs (electical, plumbing, AC, kitchen, windows, etc.) and has not paid any one of them.
This job was to cost $201,500, to date, he has received all of this money and more. I estimate that he will need an additional $65,000 to complete. I beleive this scam of his is called "Conversion of Funds" and is illegal.
He continually drags his feet in doing any work, and after today's fiasco with seeing all the brick work destroyed i am totally fed up with him.
I have asked him to either finish the work or return the money he took illegally. He says he will never return the money and he will finish it but needs more money. To that I say "No way no how".
Anyone dealing with company should BEWARE!!!
