I hired this guy to refinish the hardwood floors in my house. It took him 4 weeks to complete a job that should have been done in a week. Unfortunately, I was not at the house while he was do the work. He showed up sporatically to do the work complaining his dog was sick along with every other excuse you can imagine. He was supposed to sand all the floors and apply two coats of polyurethane on the floors. After the 4 weeks he told me he was finished. I told him I would need to see the floors before I paid him. He became inraged and insisted I pay him immediately. He complained he had three kids that needed the money and that I had lots of money and I should pay him for his work sight unseen. I told him he shouldnt have had three kids if he couldnt afford to provide for them. (lol)
When I did see his "completed" work it was a total mess. He did a terrrible sanding job on the floors and only applied one thin coat on a few of the rooms floors, most where totally unfinished, all the closets floors were sanded but not polyurethaned.
He refused to return my repeated calls for him to complete his the job.
I had to hire another guy to come resand the floors and and finish them.
This guy is a hack and a totally dishonest contractor and individual. I would avoid having him do any work you for you of any kind.
