Seller's beware&If you are trying to sell a timeshare DO NOT use Copeland Marketing Corporation to list it.
The sales staff will lie to you to create a sense of urgency like "I will have this sold by the weekend!" and they will set unrelistic expectations giving you inflated sales price expectations.
I fell for this because I was too busy to do the research in trying to help my mother sell her timeshare. I also relied on the fact that at the time the company was a member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau.
Since that time, their membership has been suspended and numerous complaints have surfaced.
According to the BBB website, the owner's are Jason and Andrea Lunt and their corporation has refused to refund my initial $895.00 deposit.
I think that they rely on people being too embarassed to act after they realize that they have been duped... I know I felt stupid... Hopefully my mistake will help the next person in a similar situation!!
