I am ashamed to admit that I ever worked for Copeland Marketing.
There has never been any presentation of any kind. EVER!
No person has ever sold or rented their timeshare through Copeland Marketing EVER!
In order to have the maximum effectiveness, do not write to the Attorney General in your state but rather to the Attorney general of Florida, Charlie Crist. Call this number to file a complaint over the phone. Fraud Hotline:
1-866-9-NO-SCAM (1-866-966-7226) (toll free within Florida or go to myfloridalegal to access the online complaint form. The attorney general can prosecute Copeland Marketing.
Next call the Central Florida BBB at 407-621-3300 to file a complaint by phone. This is extremely damaging to Copeland Marketing I assure you!
Finally the Department of Agriculture is in charge of the $50,000 dollar telemarketing license for Copeland Marketing. They can revok that license in a heartbeat if they have sufficient cause or complaints.
The commissioner is Charles Bronson. You can access the online compaint form at 800helpfla.
Last but not least Call the Consumer Sentinel Project Team in Washington DC at 877-382-4357 and file a complaint by phone with them.
If all of you do this, you can bring copeland down and start a class action lawsuit. Please do your part and take 1/2 hour to make these calls.
I am very sorry to those of you that I unknowingly ripped off. As Listing agents for Copeland Marketing we did as we were told. We followed specific instructions from the owners Jason and Andrea Lunt. We were told that we did not have to worry about fufillment because we did not work in the sales division; come to find out sometime later that there is none and never was any sales division or presentation of any kind. To estabolish this fact simply call Copeland Marketing or wander into their office located at 1468 West Internation speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach FL 32114 and attemp to buy any timeshare anywhere. Try to buy your own timeshare; impossible! Copeland Marketing wouldn't know how to sell you a timeshare even if you walked in their office with $20,000.00 and demanded to purchase.
