Ripoff I worked there... You won't believe what goes on there!

I worked there this past summer for several months and was blown away at the fact that this company is still in business. I was hired as a Customer Service manager in Houston and paired up with a fella named "Bill". We shared a 10x10 office with hundreds of files scattered all over the floor, desks, shelves etc. There was no organization whatsoever. The phone would ring off the wall with angry homeowners and Bill would tell them he is working on their problem and then search for 15 - 20 minutes to try to find their file so he could remember who they were and what their problem was. It did not take me long to see why in this office alone there were several hundred open warranty claims.

I brought in my own computer equiptment and spent hundreds of hours getting these customer files into a database so we could easily track the progress of the repairs and easily schedule repairs with sub-contractors. As I called the homeowners and visited some of the homes I was amazed at the poor quality of the homes being built and the incompetency of the "Construction Managers" that were building these homes. The sad thing was and it was very common is that the homeowners were forced into signing "Tender" forms. These are equal to "Certificate of Occupancy" forms in some areas. They signed off on these when their homes were far from livable and once they did JWH got all their money from the bank and would simply forget about the customers or lie to them as long as they could.

This is talking longer than I planed for but I have A LOT more to say. Especially about my co=workers including my boss paying their family members and friends huge amounts of money to do or in some cases not do warranty work. I also want to talk about people up the management who were made aware of this fruad and choose to do nothing about.

I have many pictures of poor workmanship and hundreds of homeowner names, addresses and phone numbers should a lawyer lik to involve them in a class action suit. I have been threatened by upper management not to discuss things I saw while working there but there has been such an injustice to so many poor folks in the south that I feel it is my duty to try and help in any way I can.

I am interested in hearing responces. I am truly sorry to anyone who got ir is involved with this company.
