Cut locks, missing items, taking advantage of hurricane hit states... Ripoff!

I agree with all the complaints in reference to Public Storage. This is a terrible place to store your personal items.

I also noticed a few things missing from my storage unit.

Recently this storage facility begin cutting the locks WITHOUT notice on the 20th of each month if the storage bill is not paid. They cut the locks then mail a letter saying "they noticed" the lock is off and then request that I put another one on. They noticed because they cut the lock (and yes I am missing things). If you read the other usacomplaints.com you will notice how quick they are to sell you a lock! ($). The policy changed AT THIS FACILITY in one month and NO NOTICED WAS SENT OUT! How odd they started doing this after the hurricanes hit the area (s)!

In my opinion, I would NOT rent storage spaces from Public Storage.

If you have items in Public Storage... IF YOU VALUE THEM REMOVE THEM IMMEDIATELY! Calls/letters to the corporate office are a waste of time.

This company is a complete RIPOFF!!!
