Placed an order by phone in response to an infomercial. The spill was to buy 1 vacuum & receive 1 free. If you wanted, you could purchase a steamer & extra filters for vacuum at reduced pricing.
When items arrived, I found "4" vacuums in box with no shipping papers or invoice paperwork. I received the 2nd box with the filters & steamer, and there was an invoice inside.
Have made several attempts to contact a "live" body to return the overshipment & get my credit back against my credit card.
Used the internet address 2 different times to report the problem I was having. The reply email was that someone would contact me within 48 hrs; that was 1 month ago & I'm still waiting. I set one day at work on hold with the customer service phone line for 1-1/2 hrs and no answer.
Did reach a live person on 9/19/05 and spoke with a Theresa. She informed that Fed-x would contact me within 30 days for return of the overshipment and that a credit would be made for $156.85. At 1st she wanted me to ship items back at my expense & I said "NO!", I didn't screw up the order... On 10/11/05, I spoke with a Jeff at the so called company and he told me that Fed-x would not contact me & that I was informed wrong about how to get my credit. My account would not be credited until they had merchandise back in their hands. He did tell me that they would credit me the extra shipping costs for me to return myself.
800-711-8357 from the invoice is no longer a working number. There is another number 800-709-2216 that is being used at this time.
Report to your credit card company for fraud...
