During the month of july I accepted delivery of a sofa sectional from the dearborn outlet for Jennifer convertibles. The furniture was to go into my basement for overnight guest,
Unfortunately the furniture would not fit through the basement door. I was told my opptions were to either send it back to the store or pay an additional fee for dis-assembly and re-assembly.
I chose to pay the extra fee for the dis-assembly. The salesperson (who I was talking to over the phone) instructed the delivery person to take the furniture back to the store until they could arrange the service, the driver told the salesperson he did'nt have any room on the truck, the salesperson told him to make room and hung the phone up. The driver told me the tech was in the area and he could arrange for him to come out on sunday (which would have been two days) and do the job, he prentended to make a call and faked agreement from the technician. I asked the driver if he was sure the job would be completed in two days because I did not want to leave the sofa in my garage. He assured me the tech would call me within two days to complete the task.
It has been almost a month and I have heard Zilch from anyone connected to this bogus company. I used their online customer care hotline twice and not even a phone call. To say I am pissed off would be an understatement more like pissed on, lied to, decieved and bamboozled by any means necessary.
