My wife and I had a contract with V.I.P. Development and Construction to do a kitchen remodel. When Gilbert Rodriquez came to our house took a deposit of $600.00 and said he would return with the plans. When he did return with the plans he said he need another $2,515.00 for a material draw. We never saw him again.
When my wife called the office we were told he would be there and Gilbert Rodriquez never showed. We have called numerous times and no answer. They even had thier phone disconnected. I went to the office and talked to one of the owners Mr. White an he said that Gilbert Rodriquez would be there that very evening and he never showed.
Went back to the office and talked to both owners Mr. White and Mr. Hicks and they asked for one week to pay and then wanted to make payments. Needless to say my money was not returned.
Called one more time and wanted to know what was going on and he said to meet him at a market place in Rialto at 3:00 P.M. I stayed until 5:00 P.M. He never showed.
I have since filed a small claims report with the courts in Fontana.
