Having been fired from northern tool & equipment, I tried to go back to work at Sears repair division. However, all I received was the run around and B.S. After 5 applications over a year and a half period, I finally received a face to face interview with my former supervisor, Ruben Vidaurri.
Then and there I was told, to my face, the reason I was not considered for employment was because of what the store mgr at Northern Tool had said about me. That is blacklisting under texas law! Of course, sears made an illegal campaign contribution to the Tom Delay's TRMPAC organization.
They have been caught and have agreed to testify against Tom Delay if and when it goes to trial. Sears wants everyone else to play by the rules, but not themselves. Also their "repair dept" have no repair manuals, no test equipment, and especially, not enough training!
One day a year by a sears representative is insufficient training in the lawn and garden dept! Sears needs to be fully investigated, but, under the current rules that were recently changed to benefit employers, nothing would happen to them.
