My air conditioning quit working and I have a warranty plan which I called into action.
I was told I would be called when they would come and repair the a/c.
I called the next morning and they said they had no idea when they would be coming out and that they would call me.
I called back 5.5 hours later and they said they would be coming out the next day even though they told me the warranty service provided priority attention within 24 hours.
I asked to speak to a supervisor and they could only give me her phone mail &/or extension because they didn't know her phone number. I asked to speak to her supervisor and they said i had to talk to her first. I left a message which said she would get back to me within 24 hours.
I then left another phone message to a customer service rep who returned my call 2 hours later saying he was sorry and didn't have control over service/maintenance.
Two hours after that, service called to say when my appt. Would be and that they had a 48 hour window of repair. None of this is outlined in my paperwork and the original dispatcher never mentioned anything.
Needless to say, the weather has been 105-106 degrees and my house has been 85 degrees and loss of work because I had no idea when they were going to come out.
I spent $5500 to upgrade this system with the "comfort club" warranty when I had my house built and the HVAC system is only 19 months old.
