I waited and waited for my flooring from American Hardwood Floors. I then found out that there was a problem with a balance due so they had not ordered the floor. The balance due was a discount on freight that had been agreed to Between someone named Mario and our contractor. It was never honored. We sent the balance less than $140.00 and waited and waited again. I called and called and explained that we needed to move back into our home and could not do so with out the flooring. I also explaine that this was an Insurance claim and all adjusters were not happy. I spoke with a fellow (names were not given) he said he would expidite the process if I agreed to take flooring that he could find for deliver ASAP. I only agreed if it was the same quality and type of wood we had purchased. Well he found flooring that the planking was larger but every thing else would be the same. WRONG!!!
We had no other option but to intall the crap they sent. Some of the wood my not even be the Brazilian Cherry we ordered. The installer said it was the worst wood he had ever seen and many to the tounge and groove did not meet. The problem with the flooring goes on and on. I tried to fax back a form the sent to me that I filled out with the complaint but it would not connect. They claimed that they would contact the Mill to make amends and get monies back. Does any one know who to contact. I have written to the California Attorney general's office.
