National Home Furnishings
Ripoff

This company sent flyers out in the mail advertising a model home furniture sale. They posted signs on the street directing you to some model homes off Azure Rd in North Las Vegas.

Upon arriving the furniture was laid out in all the rooms like a model home. They had 3 "salespeople" helping customers. I found an iron bedroom set that I wanted to purchase and the man and I talked about price. We agreed on $350 for the 2 nightstands a corner display shelf and a old fashion style swivel mirror. He took me into another model house and we started on the paperwork.
He then informed me that I would be getting a "brand new" in boxes overstocked set not the one at the model like was implied prior to that, the set was at the warehouse and they would deliver it in a week or so.

I went to pay by credit card and the machine was "broken" they needed cash and couldn't take a check due to so much fraud. I gave them $350 in cash and got a reciept.
I got a call a couple days later scheduling my delivery for 2 weeks later. Before the delivery I got another call saying they were short that set and it would be another week or so. I waited a week and then called. They were busy. The set was coming in. The set was backordered... They got the set in and it's the wrong one. I have had 20 or more phone calls with these people. It has now been 3 months and no furniture.

2 weeks ago I got an Email from them to confirm the correct set. I was told they would have it in a 5 business days. I was told the pieces I ordered were really another set and that thier cost was well past $750 but they would give me it anyway because it was thier screw up. I got a flyer that weekend from another furniture store and the pieces are only worth $269 all together. I called them again asking them to call me and they never did. I drove by thier address and there is no sign on the building and the back warehouse door was open. There was no furniture in this warehouse at all and the forklift operator laughed at me when I said why I was there and just walked away.

I called and left the company a message about the fact that thier warehouse was empty and that they needed to call me to let me know I had not been ripped off. Big surprise! No call back. So I'm out $350 and a single mother who just moved to Las Vegas and I already got taken.
