Integrity at its worst

I ordered furniture from this company when it first began and was very happy with the resluts of all transactions. Then, last year, I decided to buy again, and am still in shock over the outcome.

The quote was made on Jan 31 for Brouhill Attic Heirlooms adn Charlestown Square pieces for my kids' rooms. The total order was $2837. The order date was completed with a $900 deposit applied that same day as it was a credit from a previous purchase. The delivery date was expected to be around the last week of July.

In May, I got a call that the furniture was ready and I needed to complete the sale. I put $1000 on my credit card and said the rest would be paid when I had a sure date.

It was in the first week of August that the delivery company told me that Furniture USA was no longer in business.

I called Broyhill direct as I was also informed that Furniture USA had an initial account valued at $50,000 set up with Furniture USA. I was told by Broyhill that I was not their customer, I was Furniture USA customer and with out a purchase order they could not do anything.

I was alos told by Broyhill that my order was in thier hands, but not on a priority list! The $50,000 account would be a last resort used by Broyhill to pay for people who were on the priority list!!! That means even people who ordered thier furniture after me!
