Sierra Vista Reality Inc
Did not manage property, dishonest, childish

After much thought Im filing this report for my father. My father was working for the Department of Defense and received his orders to go overseas so he hired Sierra Vista Reality Inc to manage our house for renters in our absence.

After many years my father retired from civil service due to his declining health and returned back home. The house was a complete wreck: broken doors, holes in the walls and the yard was in complete state of disarray. I can understand that normal wear and tear is understandable but the house looked like it was neglected for some time.

After speaking with the realtor about the damages they started to played the "blame" game. Excuses came out like the 4th of July fireworks. Their explanationwas that the property was managed by a few individuals within the company (they left the company due to "internal" conflicts) and they couldn't give me a reason why it was in such disarray. Upon hearing all the excuses I arranged to speak to the manager of the company.

Well a few days passed and BOB finally came by the property to see the scope of damages but he refused to speak to me because in his words "I looked very hostile and he didnt want to get into a conflict with me" and he left without seeing anything. This immediately raised a red flag for me.

Since BOB refused to speak to me my father attempted to handle this situation but his health detoriated and the added stress wasn't going to help. What to do now? My father couldnt take a "confrontation" and the realtor was avoiding me. Due to my fathers health we decided to drop it and move back in and attempt the repairs ourselves. After a few months and a lot of money the house is looking better but the thought of not doing anything has been on my mind.

Im not familar with the laws dealing with this and getting a lawyer wasnt a option at that time. The only option was to get my father in a familiar and stable setting to hope his health would get better.
