CPM's Professional Painting
This Company rips off customers AND employees, You are better off with an alternative

CPM's Professional Painting is the spawn of Monmaney's Master Painters, Inc. Which thankfully closed down after the death of it's president (Harry W. Monmaney Jr,) and the walk out of the Vice President (Thomas M. Monmaney Sr.) Two companies were "born" from the ashes, the other being Bruce Monmaney Painters (603) 448-0100 also operating out of Lebanon, NH. Both of which still use the "Harry way" of business.

The Harry way of business is simple: Embezzle, lie, cheat, steal, and backstab ANYONE that tries to either help, or point out that things are not legal. The customer never comes first, only their wallet, and those great discounts? Right, a 25% discount is marked up 30%, which is still twice as much as most competitors (except BMP, they are usually the closest!) good deal huh? And what about the products that you "think" you are getting. I know for fact that CPM's would bid Benjamin Moore paint, then buy cheap walmart paint in it's place and pocket the difference!

Another MMP, CPM's, and BMP trick is to have the customer write a check to the boss, not the company. SO either Chris or Laura (owners of CPM's) or Tom Sr. (the one who makes the decisions 90% of the time anyway) will take the check for whatever amount, and split it with the other two! Leaving the company in a whole that much. (As they just did to take a three week trip to Florida. Leaving with the money left a "nice" surprise for the workers when the owners returned, and claimed not to have any money for payroll).

I wonder if they didn't steal $12,000 from the company (they really leave too many papers laying around!) before going to Fla. If the payroll would have been met? I think the IRS would do well to audit and look at EVERYTHING. How about a check written for $10,500 as a birthday gift to Laura, From her husband Chris, well actually the CPM checkbook. Or the $1,500 or so a week check written to Tom Sr's wife, who by the way does absolutely nothing for the company, this is so the IRS only sees Tom Sr's 10 dollars an hour, and doesn't tax him! Now that IS honest.

Bruce Monmnaey of Bruce Monmaney Painters is the same way. It is amazing to us all that both companies are even allowed to stay running! How about employees? Do you think they do their best with bosses that mistreat them? Here's an example: As MMP, inc. Was in the stages of crumbling, I was informed I would STILL be making $15 an hour at cpm's, yet with my first paycheck found that I had been robbed a dollar an hour. And many others met the same fate, why? Chris and laura "needed" a camper! One painter was told he'd get a raise in "x" amount of time, only to get an attitude when asked about it in the allowed time. Any company that lies to both customers AND employees has no business, being in business!

Just because they CLAIM to care, and that a handshake still means something, and the fact they have indeed been in the area for years does not make either company honest, trustworthy or even qualified to enter our homes. As home owners we deserve better. There ARE alternatives, and they are just as good!
