My security system was installed by ADT's contractor CRIME BUSTERS - and my home in the central Phoenix area has been monitored by ADT for 3 years.
Recently, I needed service on my alarm system because the panel was giving off "Check System" signals. I paid the $25.00 fee to have a technician (employed by ADT) to come to the house to check the alarm system.
What I found out is that my house has NEVER been properly protected... The sensors in the bedroom windows covered only ONE SIDE of the window, and anyone who opened the other side could do so without tripping the alarm.
I am extremely upset that I have paid a monitoring fee for three years and have not been properly protected.in attempting to address this issue with Customer Service, I have been told that I need a manager to give me a "CALL BACK" - and that was supposed to have happened within 24 hours. Now, a week later, I am again attempting to reach a manager to no avail.
The customer service at this company is less than impressive. I will be cancelling my contract with ADT and will be pursuing a legal remedy for the return of my monitoring fees.in addition, I am contacting all the referrals I made to this company to have them check their alarm installations to see if in fact they also are properly installed.
I am disappointed and unhappy with the product and customer service.
