I ordered 88 boxes of Brazilian Cherry flooring for our new home on 9-9-04. The salesman and the documents said that the wood would be ready and delivered in 6 weeks. I understood at the time of my order that I was dealing with an internet company and that I would have to contact them by email if I had questions about my order.
It was also understood that I would receive weekly updates from them and from the mill as to the progress of my order. I did not receive weekly updates. I had the same message " your order is in processing and will be shipped in 6-8 weeks. This time frame came and went. No flooring.
I emailed them and received no response. I went to their internet chat and was told it would be another 4 weeks. I received an email letter explaining that the milling process is complicated and can be delayed for numerous reasons however a specific reason for why my flooring was delayed was not given. I waited again the 4 weeks. No flooring.
I contacted them again and I was told that it was being shipped and would be delivered in 3 weeks. Again the three weeks had past and no flooring. I contacted them on 12-12-04 through the shipping chat and was told that my order would be delivered between christmas and New Years. I pressed for a more accurate date but was not given one. Only the same message repeated to me again and then I was disconnected from the chat.
Now it is 1-3-05 and guess what? No flooring again. I told them that I would turn the matter over to the proper authorities if I did not receive the wood by 1-1-05. I am trying to contact them now and am being told that the shipping chat is having technical difficulties. I am now proceeding with legal action.
If anyone else has been taken by this company please contact me by using the rebuttal box below. I would like to hear your story and provide my lawyer with your stories. I know that Richard Miller is the owner and that the so called shipping department is run from Las Vegas. The order department is in Atlanta Ga. I have family checking on the Atlanta address and I am planning a trip to Las Vegas to start proceedings there.
Do not purchase anything from this company! The customer service is not there. The staff is uneducated and cannot even spell properly in their communications with you. They are rude and will either disconnect you or will completely ignore your requests. I ordered this flooring when the footings for my new home were dug and now we need flooring and I do not have any. The monies that were allocated to the flooring have been sent to this fraudulent company. On 1-9-04 It will be 4 months since we allowed them to debit our checking account for the funds and yet no flooring. Please stay away from this company!
