Help me get my pool sweep and pool finished. I want my pool sweep and final inspection completed. Cheater all the way. Bad businessman big time. Advanced Pools, out of Wilton California failed to inform the homeowner that there was a possiblity of hitting groundwater at the time of the dig for the pool. Charged the homeowner an extra $2,000 [knowning that the area where the homeowner lived was full of groundwater, considering that he had built other pools in the same area] Tells homeowner that in order to finish the pool there would be an extra $200 charge for the gunite [verbablly] pools is completed and then tells homeowner that he won't receive his pool sweep [worth $200] until the gunite company is paid.in the meantime the pool company faxes the homeowner the release of lien from the gunite company. No change order was ever written. Never agreed in writing or verbally that to the extra money. Pool has yet to pass final inspection through the county and the homeowner owner is owed his pool sweep. Contractor says no. I want my pool sweep now.
