We were relocating from Arizona to Fort Collins and I hired Jeff Jones of "A True Home Inspection" to inspect a home I was purchasing. After taking possession of the home we discovered the dryer vent was venting into the wall. It was easily observable that there was an issue since a board with a hole for vent pipe had been placed over the original. We were missing a basement window, there were electrical cords plugged into outlets in the family room that disappeared back into the wall, one bathtub had a persistent drip that required a new valve to stop, the kitchen sink p-trap was supported on two small wood blocks, there was evidence of previous water damage in the basement bathroom, multiple sinks had combination pvc and abs which need different glues, front room ceiling lights had visible jumper wire to supply electric to added light fixture and the Humidifier if turned on leaked and flooded basement.
