I ordered a "Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder Ultimate Blocker" online from this company on 12/15. I got a confirmation e-mail the same day saying it would be shipped within a day by UPS Ground.
The amount of $218.38 was immediately charged to my AmEx card. As of this date (1/3) I have not heard another word from this company. No e-mail that the item had shipped or had been back-ordered or otherwise delayed. It was to be shipped to MA, not exactly the end of the world.
There is no telephone number on their webpage (that should have been a heads-up) so I called the vendor's telephone number appearing on my credit card statement. It sounds like a fax number. So I e-mailed them at the address given on their website: [email protected] to cancel the order. Message returned "undeliverable - permanent error".
So I contacted AmEx and they will investigate. They have deducted this charge from my bill - thank goodness for AmEx customer service.
I have never dealt with this company before and obviously never will again.
