I recently noticed that the bracket holding my muffle (2005 cavilar) had rusted through and needed to be replaced, my father suggested Monroe muffler (greorge urban location in cheekyowaga) thinking it couldn't be more than a $50 fix.
I went in and they quoted me $103 for labor and parts. I was very upset and was wondering where I was going to come up with the money. I took the car home and did some reasearch online - turns out the beaker was only $16.99 at advance auto parts and my father and I were able to put the new bracket on in under 10 mins!!!
I will never return to Monroe for anything!!! I hope people realize how much they are being swindled.
