I like Microcenter's sales staff, they are always very helpful & if they have a component for less than Best Buy I'll continue to shop here, but this reviews is about using there service of creating a custom built computer. My ‘so-called’ professional tech bragged about being able to complete the build while selling me nearly $1000.00 in parts. He went on to do a very poor job putting the computer together.in the end the case would not close properly & there were numerous problems with other components not being seated correctly. The computer would not boot up. When I called the tech who built my computer he then went on to state that he will not be working on my computer again as it is my problem now. When I went in to Microcenter & explained to them what had just happened, they laughed. Afterward they went on to agree that the computer needed to be fixed & as I had purchased the insurance they had a different tech repair the problems. This is the second time I had difficulty with a custom build from Microcenter, I will not be having them build my next computer.
