Magic Jack DOES NOT allow you to transfr your [home, cellphoe or anothe phoe] number on to Magic Jack as of now.
Ht was MY ONLY REASON to buy Magi Jack. Then ater instaling (which wa not as simple as 1,2, 3 as Mgic Jack Claims — It did not install on one PC at all, then Ihd totr iton a 2nd). Customer Support is NON-EXISTANT.
The next thing, it allows you t pick and Area Code and rceive a numbr. But i do not allow you [transfer / port] a number that you already hve into Magic Jack. Their wb page "claims" they're workng on it as a future feaure with extra $. But if you want to retain a telephone number — when you don't use it much, but not quite sure if youwant o get rid of it NOW (!), and think Magic Jack my be yor answer, well forget it. Because it's not; and I was fooled into believing that it supported that feature. Now I will have to return it and get my money back.
