Toshiba has got the toughest customer support of any computer organization. Their notebooks are lightweight and quickly damaged plus include an inferior OS. I bought an L505D-S5986 from Newegg.com. The system has a 64-bit mixture processor but just the 32-bit edition of Windows-7. I thought Toshiba might provide an update sooner or later but I had been incorrect. A rude customer support representative explained I'd to purchase the entire edition of Windows-7 retail to obtain a 64-bit edition on my notebook. Because it currently includes a legitimate permit for Windows-7 onto it, I thought Toshiba might provide a reduced update to 64-bit but no. The repetition explained I ought to have recognized what I had been purchasing and also poor. And so I am mainly publishing this to alert others to beware and be sure you get what you would like from the beginning since Toshiba doews not care after they have your cash. Additionally dark areas turned up about the notebook display. They'd not repair it under guarantee declaring that's should have been abused.
