Lack of Service follow-through - Phone customer services and store services

I've been a Sprint customer for over 6 years and have 4 lines of service.in this economy, I would think they have an interest in keeping current loyal customers; however my recent problem with a defective phone proves otherwise. I own a Palm Treo 800w. The charger port malfunctioned after about 70 days. It will not charge or sync my phone.in my local Sprint store, I was told a new phone would be ordered since mine was less than 3 months old. After a wait of one week, I received a call to come in to pick up my new phone. When I got to the store, they offered me a scratched reconditioned phone which I declined. The sales rep ordered another phone, and gave me an order number for the new phone. After another week’s wait, I went in for the new phone. Out of the back room comes the same scratched reconditioned phone. I explained to yet another rep what I had been promised. He told me I had two choices, keep my broken phone, or take the scratched one. I didn’t care for either option, and called the Sprint Customer Service number. The customer service phone rep said I could be sent a new phone by mail, but that Treo model was no longer available. He assured me the phone he was sending was a comparable, slimmer, more stylish phone. What I received was a Moto Q9c, which was very different from my Treo. It was not touch screen, had a different operating system, inferior camera etc. I called Sprint again and was told I had to take that phone. I had tried the Moto Q over a year ago, and did not like it. Since I don't want the Q, I offered to pay the difference for a better phone and was still told no. Calls to customer services, customer retention and sales have all netted zero results. Now, Sprint is charging me for a phone I’ve never taken out of the box, and they will not accept back. I am not asking for a newer model for free. I am willing to pay the difference. But Sprint doesn’t want to work with me. If Sprint wants to keep my business... If I go, I’m cancelling all 4 lines; I feel they should try to resolve this issue with a phone having the same features as my Treo.
