KingSize Direct complaints: how to reach the company and who else takes a complaint

This page was checked on 2026-10-18. Returns, as the company publishes them: BBB's FullBeauty LP profile quotes the business's policy as 'All unworn, unwashed, or defective merchandise may be exchanged or returned within 60 days of the ship date' and 'Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.' The kingsize.com FAQ says 'If you used our pre-paid return label, $10.99 was deducted from the merchandise total. The original shipping and handling is non-refundable.' and 'Returns take about two weeks to process—including transit time to our warehouse.' Only the credit-card page redirected our browser to a notice saying the site cannot serve EU users, so we did not read it. Check the live Help section before relying on any deadline.

  • Company phone. The header of the Terms of Use page at kingsize.com shows 'Call Us 1-800-339-2926' under Customer Service (read 2026-10-18).
  • Formal dispute notice. The Terms of Use (the page says 'last updated on: August 1st, 2017') contain an arbitration agreement. Before starting arbitration it asks you to send written notice describing the claim to FULLBEAUTY Brands, One New York Plaza, New York, New York 10004, ATTN: General Counsel, email [email protected]; if the claim is not resolved within 30 days you may begin arbitration with the AAA. The same clause says individual claims may be brought in small claims court if they qualify, and 'If your total claims seek less than $10,000, we will reimburse you for filing fees you pay to the AAA and will pay arbitrator's fees, unless the arbitrator determines your claims are frivolous.' Read the clause itself before acting.
  • KingSize credit card. The visible footer of the kingsize.com Rewards page says 'KingSize Platinum Credit Card Accounts are issued by Comenity Capital Bank'; the same page's embedded banner text carries the older wording 'issued by Comenity Bank', and its card links go to c.comenity.net/kingsize/. The site's footer also lists a separate 'Diamond Rewards Mastercard'; we did not read who issues that card. Billing, late-fee and statement questions about the card are therefore for the card issuer; a complaint about a financial product can be submitted to the CFPB at consumerfinance.gov/complaint, which says it sends complaints to companies for a response.
  • Order on hold. The kingsize.com FAQ says that to 'reduce potential risk' it conducts 'additional verifications when an order doesn't look like quite right', and lists checks such as multiple orders under one account within 48 hours, a first order with a high dollar amount, or a shipping address that differs from the billing address.
  • Unfamiliar repeated charges. Several archive posts from 2004 to 2010 describe monthly charges from third-party membership programs that the authors say appeared after a KingSize order (see the complaint record). If you see a charge you do not recognise, your card issuer's dispute process and the FTC's ReportFraud.ftc.gov are the routes; keep the statement showing the merchant name.
  • Regulators. FTC: reportfraud.ftc.gov. State attorneys general also take consumer complaints; the New York Attorney General's site (ag.ny.gov) lists 1-800-771-7755 for the office, and FullBeauty Brands gives a New York address.
  • BBB. BBB accepts complaints through the FullBeauty LP profile; its figures cover all FullBeauty brands (see below).

Who runs KingSize Direct

The Terms of Use on kingsize.com say: 'This Site is owned and operated by FULLBEAUTY Brands, Inc. and its affiliates and their brands.' Its legal-notice address is One New York Plaza, New York, New York 10004. BBB lists the business as FullBeauty LP, a limited partnership, at 1 New York Plz, New York, NY 10004-1901, with 'Years in Business: 120', a raw-data business start of 1906-01-01 and a file opened 1998-04-01, and lists these Alternate Names: Ellos, FullBeauty Brands, Bargain Catalog Outlet, BrylaneHome, Jessica London, KingSize, Roaman's, Swimsuits For All and Woman Within (read 2026-10-18). BBB names Ms. Eilie Arel as President/CEO. We did not identify a source that separately states KingSize Direct's own founding year, so none is given.

Merger news. Destination XL Group, Inc. (DXL) announced a merger with FullBeauty Brands on December 11, 2025. In a July 20, 2026 release DXL said its board 'has determined that the merger and the transactions contemplated by the merger agreement, including the issuance proposal, are no longer advisable' and urged stockholders to vote 'AGAINST' the issuance proposal. DXL's September 9, 2026 results release says it filed Amendment No. 1 to the preliminary proxy statement on September 2, 2026 and refers to the counterparty as 'FBB Holdings I, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“FullBeauty”)'. These are DXL's statements; we did not find a completion announcement in the releases we read, and we say nothing about FullBeauty's finances.

The kingsize.com home page (2026-10-18) presents 'Big and Tall Clothing for Men', with a Catalog link, a Card link, a Rewards link and a 'Brands' menu that includes KingSize's own labels (King Size, KS Island, KS Signature, KS Sport) alongside third-party brands. The site's Rewards page, as displayed on 2026-10-18, refers to the 'FullBeauty VIP Rewards program' for holders of the KingSize Platinum Credit Card; an older promotional line in the same page's embedded banner text uses the wording 'Fullbeauty Rewards program' and says 'This rewards program is provided by KingSize and its terms may change at any time.'

Complaint record: BBB, Trustpilot and this site's archive

BBB (profile for FullBeauty LP, New York, covering all FullBeauty brands), as displayed on 2026-10-18: not BBB accredited; BBB Rating A+; '888 total complaints in the last 3 years' and '254 complaints filed in the last 12 months'; customer reviews '1.06 /5 stars, Average of 222 Customer Reviews'. These numbers are for the whole FullBeauty file, not KingSize alone.

Trustpilot, as displayed on 2026-10-18 for kingsize.com: 2.5 from 5 reviews; unclaimed profile; Trustpilot says the company has no history of asking for reviews, so they may not be representative, and that it does not fact-check reviews. The profile heading showed a different name ('NASH MONEY DESIGN'). These platform figures are shown separately and are not added to each other or to this site's count.

This site's archive. 12 approved complaints (11 from 2006 to 2013 and one from 2026) name KingSize Direct as the subject: billing, late-fee and card-statement disputes, order, shipping, advertised-offer or refund disputes, and credit-card sign-up and rewards charges. Ten further posts from 2004 to 2010 are linked as related, not counted as KingSize's own: they describe monthly charges by third-party membership programs (named in the posts as Reservation Rewards, UMG Buyers Edge or Complete Savings) that the authors say followed a KingSize order, or name the card bank (World Financial Network National Bank) as the offender. In those posts the authors attribute how the third party obtained their card details to KingSize; the posts do not show that, and we did not find a company statement on the point. All are individual, unverified consumer accounts and all but one are at least 13 years old.

Court records found for FullBeauty

The Justia dockets search for 'fullbeauty' (read 2026-10-18) lists 37 federal cases naming FullBeauty entities. We did not read them all; the listing shows employment-discrimination and ADA suits by individuals, a personal-injury suit, two matters in which FullBeauty entities are the plaintiff or petitioner (a December 2025 case in the Southern District of New York filed by FullBeauty Brands, Inc. under the RICO Act against three named defendants, and a January 2026 Court of International Trade case against the United States and U.S. Customs and Border Protection), and a Ninth Circuit matter in which a putative consumer class is the respondent or appellee. None of these listings states that the claim concerns the KingSize brand.

Broomes, et al. v. FullBeauty Brands Operations, LLC (Ninth Circuit). The docket captions the plaintiffs as suing 'individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated' and the defendant as an Indiana limited liability company; Justia lists the nature of suit as 'Other Fraud' for No. 26-180, 'Other Statutory Actions' for No. 25-3988 and 'Other' for No. 25-3886. The docket pages do not state which brand or practice the claims concern. In No. 25-3886, a petition by FullBeauty Brands Operations, LLC, the court dismissed it on November 18, 2025 on the parties' stipulation under FRAP 42(b). In No. 25-3988, FullBeauty's opening brief was filed on November 18, 2025 and the appellees' answering brief was due January 16, 2026 after an extension. Entries in Nos. 25-3988 and 26-180 are captioned together. On May 11, 2026 the court temporarily closed the docket for administrative purposes (the order says the closure 'is not a decision on the merits'), and an order dated June 18, 2026 extended the closure until June 25, 2026. The last entry we retrieved (June 22, 2026) scheduled video mediation for July 14, 2026. We could not check later entries, so the outcome is not known to us. These are allegations in a pending dispute, not findings.

We found no regulator order against KingSize Direct in the sources checked on 2026-10-18, but we did not search state regulator databases, so this is not a statement that none exists.

Is KingSize Direct Legitimate?

The kingsize.com Terms of Use say the site is owned and operated by FULLBEAUTY Brands, Inc., with a New York address; BBB lists FullBeauty LP at One New York Plaza as an A+ rated, non-accredited business with a file opened in 1998, and kingsize.com loaded as an active big-and-tall clothing store on 2026-10-18. BBB shows 888 complaints in three years across all FullBeauty brands, and Trustpilot shows 2.5 from 5 reviews on an unclaimed profile.

Archive complaints about KingSize Direct date from 2004 to 2013 and concern billing, the store credit card, order accuracy and third-party membership charges that authors say followed an order. They are consumers' statements and are not verified. Current return and cancellation rules were not readable to us (see 'what to do' above), and we have not assessed how the company handles orders today.
