Mismatched shoes, rude crew, terrible return policy

I purchased a set of shoes from the Cathy Jean store within the style area at Newport Beach shop, subsequently discovered these were of mismatched styles. 24 hours later, I visited the shop at 445 Los Cerritos Mall (Cerritos, CA 90703) to come back them using the bill.

However, the team declined my return bluntly, declaring the mismatch might screw up using their stock. I had been advised to-go back again to the initial shop, 30 kilometers away to complete my return. It is absurd being that they are of 1 organization, why must a person being punished due to their error? I'm unsure if their actucal plan could be this unjust or when the team created the account up. I'm really dissatisfied from the rude team and customer support.
