Dryer clean filter message

I have an LG tru steam dryer purchased for over $1,000 11 mths ago. I noticed last week that the clean/reset filter button would come off and the cycle would stop. The internal dryer filter was clean. I called LG and spoke to a person who advised me that a reset could fix the problem. She advised me to unplug the dryer and hold down the start button for five seconds. I did that and it did not fix the problem. On my second call in I got a man who told me that I needed to disc. The dryer hose and vacuum it out before they could send a tech or I would be charged for the visit. I am a 52 year old woman. I pushed the dryer away from wall crawled behind it, disc. The hose and vacuumed it out. I could not get the hose back on so I called them again, got a woman who said we never advise customers to clean out the hose themselves you have to call a professional to do it first.By this point my husband was home and fuming and he demanded they send someone out. The company they contract through was not yet open at 0900 (and she gave me their number and told me to call them in about an hour. This is the worse customer service since AOL outsourced about 10 yrs ago. Two days and still no guarantee of when someone will be out. Ridiculous
