2002 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner, 31,000 miles, V-6, all maintenance performed per manual. Brought to dealer where purchased about 40 days ago for smoking. Was told that I had a blown engine and it was not covered by warranty. Warranty limit is 36,000 miles. Reason for denial was lack of maintenance casued sludge or gel build up. Never asked for maintenance records, made decision without any information from me.
I called owner on day 6 and they offered to put me in a new truck, I picked one out and they just dropped the ball.
They have my truck, will not return phone calls. I am begining litigation Monday.
