Fprd expedition batter cable - Ford expedition

I own a ford expedition 2004 i replace the plus side of the batter cable when the one on the car whent bad and then in 2009 i had to replace it again and now in 2012 i have to replace it again the problem is they use copper that corrosion so far i have paid over 600.00 to replace it and ford when i called said to bad this pare is bad and should be replace by ford
