In August i had my truck towed into Lubbuck Truck Sales to have a blown turbo put on and was advised on the cost of the repair... I was under a load and had to rent a rental truck from Ryder to complete my delivery in Iowa... I had left my truck down at Lubbock for which they had repaired the truck and i had had some problems with my past company of getting my truck back... They had suppose to had plugged in my truck dew to the lenth of time spent away from the truck cause i had food inside... Unfortunately the shop didn't plug in the fridge and the food had spoiled and the fridge was open with the food on the floor...
When i left from my home town in Omaha, Ne to go and pick up my truck the smell was so bad i couldnt breath when i opened the door... I had asked what had happen and they said that they thought that they had it plugged in... But it took me 2hrs to clean out the fridge of maggots and try to drive down the road and get my truck back home... When i got back home i had told the shop about the undercarriage shield was off the truck and wasnt put back on... It was dragging the ground cause the mechanic didn't tighten the screws back properly...
I have an 05 Volvo 780... Also i had advise the shop foreman that i had a leak coming from the radiator... The shop then said to take it to a dealer and have it taken care of and they would take care of it... I took the truck to Freightliner of Omaha and they said that they see that it was leaking fluid from the radiator and that they didn't want to touch it and advise to take to Volvo dealer... I then advised the shop in Lubbock about the situation and they said ok take it to Volvo... I took it in and the shop at Volvo said that it was the radiator and that it would take a couple of days to repair...
Once again i called the shop in Lubbock and advised and they said ok... I had told the shop foreman at Lubbock that its going to be kind of costly and they said ok just have the shop send them pictures and it will be taken care of... The Volvo shop foreman said that they had talked to Lubbock and they had approved of the work... The Volvo shop called me on Sunday and said that the cac was leaking also and it needed to be replaced... I asked was that due to the radiator leaking and they said Yes! The said that they had a kit for which would save them some money and i said ok as long as it was caused by the repair from Lubbock Truck Sales mechanic... The next day i went up to Volvo and found out that Lubbock Truck Sales said that they weren't going to fix the truck a said they dont believe that it was their fault that the truck radiator had leaked...
The Volvo dealer said that if the shop in Lubbock hadn't over tighten the bolt on the cac it would of not bent the frame causing the leak in both units... I had tried to reach out to the manger of Lubbock and he isn't going to pay for the repair. Volvo has sent them 10 pictures of the radaitor and had offered to send them the parts taken off the truck to inspect themselves and they decline that as well! The repair is way over $5348.97 for which I said i would pay $700 of the bill... They said that they are only going to pay $2500. I had paid Lubbock Truck Sales $6200 to get truck back from thier shop! This is very costly. I'm an owner operator and i'm very upset with Lubbock Truck Sales of Lubbock, Tx...
