First of all I was buying a vehicle from JD Byrider which was an 1995 Grand Am GT when I got into an accident. I had full coverage insurance at the time, but it didn't cover the total price of the vehicle since it was an older car booked about five thousand dollars and they were charging me like eleven thousand dollars with interest.
At first they was like your old debt will be cancelled out in full after they received their money from the insurance company and I would be able to purchase another vehicle no problem.
When I arrived they told me a completely different story. They told me I had three vehicle to choose from because I was going to have the balance of what the insurance company didn't pay from the previous loan put on top of my new loan which was several thousand.
I live over and hour from the dealership and I desperatedly needed a vehicle for work. So I choose a 1994 Grand Am because I was basically stuck between a rock and a hard place, was now paying double price for a vehicle basically.
I was just going to take a loss fine longs as I have transportation for my job, after all of this ironically I happened to get laid off, because of the distanced I mailed my payments and when one of those payments was lated they contacted my employer and found out I was laid off.
They called and told me since I was laid off they wouldn't accept anymore payment's till re-did my budget because of the distance I was unable to make it by their dealine. Since they wouldn't accept my payment I was like two weeks late and they repoed my vehicle. This all happened in a span of three month's in 2002 what can I do?
