A very long story cut short.
Booked 7.5 tonne vehicle to go to France
They took the money for the van and also a £500 REFUNDABLE deposit.
No notice given that they could not deliver vehicle requested just told me similar (I needed a specific height in the back which they said they could do)
Left it until day before and then contacted me a day early for delivery, I had to turn around on the motorway they ave no notice and they were just going to leave it and sign on my behalf that it was ok.
I was very stressed when I turned back at the house, late for an appointment and the wrong vehicle, I contacted another vehicle hire company but now there wasn't enough notice so I had to accept an 8 year old vehicle.
Loaded as best I could having to leave some things behind. Went to France dropped stuff off.
Got back then no deposit returned, just laughed at me.
I got credit card company to refund which took ages
The minute they told A1 that they given me my money back.
