I purchased a vehicle from Whites Auto sales and delt directly with the owner. The man sold me the car it was 5000 dollar car and I paid cash. He told me it would be a great car and the normal crap the car dealers give you. However he failed to tell me that he didn;t have the title to the vehicle and that Franchies Auto Sales actually had the title.
When I found this out i complained and complained he just kept giving me 45 day registration stickers. After about 6 months of this I really got upset as i had nothing but problems with the vehicle and yet still no title so i couldn;t even trade it in. He told me he would get it to me by the end of the week well the end of the week never came.
I called frenchies who actually had the title for the vehicle and they gave me the biggest run around possible (another Ripoff Car Dealership). After we went round for round trying to to get the title i ended up taking him to small claims court to get some of my money back or the title.
He shows up with a high priced lawyer and weesels his way out of it. He for some reason didn't have the title the day before court when i talked to him but miraculously brought the title to court with him. So now i am out my court fees and all when he could have gave me the title in the beginning and saved all these problems.
I did however report him to the Department Of Motor Vehicles and he was fined apparently this was not the first person he had done this to and i am sure i will not be the last
