My title was stolen before I had a chance to turn the title over in my name after receiving it from Capital Auto Sales. I went to Motor Vehicles to try to get a new title but was told that Capital Auto Sales were still listed as the lien holder. The representative at Motor Vehicles told me that Capital Auto Sales had to provide me with a Lien Release with no Interest letter and then I could get a new title.
I immediately called Capital Auto Sales and was told I would have to speak with a certain woman who handles titles. The next day, I get a hold of her and she told me it was my fault and that there was nothing she could do for me. She was very rude with horrible customer service skills.
It has been a week and I still do not have a resolution. I contacted the Better Business Bureau in hopes they can help me. I understand I should have immediately gotten Capital Auto Sales removed from the title but I can not get a new title at this point unless Capital Auto Sales gives me that very important letter.
